The Key functions of NPC include monitoring the safety of medicines and vaccines, analyzing data from clinical trials and providing risk management plans. Our focus is on keeping safe medication use and we are working closely with public health programs and the pharmaceutical industry to detect, assess, understand, and prevent any harmful effects associated with these products.

Our goal is to promote the safe and effective use of medicines and vaccines and to protect public health. We are committed to providing high-quality pharmacovigilance services to our clients. Pharmacovigilance plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety of medicines and vaccines in healthcare practice.

National Pharmacovigilance Centre, (NPC) has started its quarterly Pharmacovigilance Newsletter to provide information on the latest developments in the field of pharmacovigilance with the objective of disseminating information on pharmacovigilance activities nationally and globally, educating stakeholders on medicines safety issues, promoting rational use of medicines, and promote spontaneous reporting of Adverse Drug Reactions (ADRs). Additionally, it also includes information on the reporting, detection, assessment, understanding, and prevention of adverse effects.
