Last Updated on April 17, 2025

The Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP) is dedicated to protect/ safeguard public health by ensuring the uninterrupted availability of safe, effective, and quality medicines across the country. The DRAP understand that drug shortages, particularly essential and life-saving medicines, can have serious impact on patient well being. The DRAP has implemented robust measures to monitor and address such issues on a priority basis.

DRAP has introduced an online drug shortage reporting form to streamline data collection and enhance real-time monitoring capabilities. This standardized reporting form can be accessed through given QR code or clicking the link below:

In addition to the QR Code and online form,The DRAP has also established a dedicated communication channel (email: drugshortagedra.gov.pk) for reporting drug shortages. This email address serves as the point of contact for healthcare institutions to report any observed or anticipated shortages. Submission of timely information will enable swift regulatory action and ensure availability.

The DRAP strongly encourages all healthcare institutions to disseminate this information (with QR Code) internally and actively report any instance of drug shortages using the channels provided above.
